Mikala Hyldig Dal is educated at the University of Arts Berlin/Institute of time-based media and works as an artist and curator in the field of image politics and (medial) representational strategies; she is interested in the development of visual systems and alternative knowledge production through the connection of artistic and academic strategies. She is co-founder of EUROZENTRIKA and the exhibition series Homo Bellicus and has co-organised the artistic research project Reloading Images (Damascus). Her artworks have been internationally exhibited. www. mikala-hyldig-dal.net / reloading-images.org / homo-bellicus.net Mikala Hyldig das ist ausgebildet an der Universität der Künste Berlin, Institut für zeitbasierte Medien. Sie arbeitet als Künstlerin und Kuratorin zur Fragestellungen zum Bilderpolitik und medialen Repräsentations-Strategien. Sie ist interessiert in der Ausarbeitung von visuellen Systeme und alternativen Wissensproduktion durch die Verknüpfung von künstlerischen und akademischen Arbeitsmethoden. Sie ist Mitgründerin von Eurozentrika, hat die Ausstellungsreihen „Homo Bellicus“ und „Operative Performance“ geleitet und das artistic Research Projekt „Reloading Images - Damascus“ mitorganisiert.
