GIBT ES EINE NEUE „KULTUR DER WUT“ in den ökonomischen und politischen Krisen und Ausnahmezuständen der Gegenwart? Wann kippt aufgestaute Frustration in Wut um, endet individuelle oder soziale Diplomatie und bricht die Leidenschaft durch? Kann sie mit ihrer großen emotionalen Schubkraft neue Verhältnisse bewirken? ÜBER WUT stellt sich ihrem Schrecken wie auch ihrem transformativen Potenzial.

Das Programm schafft im Zusammenspiel der Genres immer neue Brennpunkte: Die Ausstellung formuliert künstlerische Statements, die in die Diskussionen, Lesungen und Talks intervenieren. Es geht hier um die sublimierte, kondensierte Wut. Immer mittwochs entwerfen Lectures eine aktuelle Phänomenologie dieses primären Affekts in politischen, philosophischen und postkolonialen Kontexten. Filme führen die Themen assoziativ weiter, und Performances eröffnen andere Zugänge zu den künstlerischen und theoretischen Positionen. Möglichkeiten eigener kreativer Auseinandersetzung mit den Werken der Ausstellung aus den sozialen Fragen Berlins heraus geben die „Wuträume“ . Am Ende steht ein ganzer „Wut-Gipfel / Rage Summit“: Wechseldialoge, offene Diskussionsrunden und ReReadings von Schlüsseltexten – von Bataille über Che Guevara und Darwin bis Sloterdijk.

Mit Werken von Shoja Azari (Iran), Jimmie Durham (USA), Regina José Galindo (Guatemala), Tadeusz Kantor (PL), Klara Lidén (S), Michael Rakowitz (USA), reloading images (Iran/USA, I/UK, Iran/D, D, Iran/USA, Ägypten), Seher Shah (USA) und einer speziellen „Diskursarchitektur“ von ifau (D).
